Emergency Services Day at Paddock Wood Primary

Good afternoon,

Last Thursday officers from the Child Centred Policing Team as well as PCSO's from the Community Safety Unit headed to Paddock Wood Primary School for their Emergency Services Day. We were joined by a crew from Paddock Wood fire station as well as ambulance crews. The children learnt about what each service does and how to ask for help. 

The children were all excited to see inside police and ambulance vehicles, even getting to see where the ‘bad guys’ get to sit. One class even got to arrest their teacher and have her handcuffed in the back on our van. The crime was giving too much homework!!

The children all enjoyed their day and it was great to see them interacting with officers and staff from all services, breaking down barriers and building trust.
